The Destruction of New Zealand through Debt

The only hope we have for change in NZ is if people learn the truth. I am not talking about the nanny, i am talking about the bankrupting of our country. For the last 30 years NZ has been run responsibly and the most debt NZ has ever has before Labour came to power was 62 billion. Its now double that and expected to reach 160 billion by election day. Basically the govt is borrowing and dumping 15 billion dollars into the economy every month. our economy is worth approx 300 billion which means it turns over 25 billion dollars a month so this is absolutely staggering. It is the same as you going out and borrowing 60% of your monthly wage and spending it on things you will never get a return from like booze and drugs, because thats what the government is doing, getting the NZ economy addicted to these handouts. The only way they were able to achieve this staggering debt rollout was by suspending the financial oversight committee. We are in for a world of pain when these handouts end and the money has to be handed back. Mass taxes must follow mass debt.

Now the media are completely ignoring this the same way they are ignoring the nanny issue. Shows how completely they have been bought off. Maybe if we share this around we can get the word out.

These are numbers so large they are difficult to comprehend. 160 billion dollars is 1 600 000kg or 1 600 metric tonnes of one hundred dollar bills. Its staggering. This is ontop of the printing or ‘quantitative easing’ of tens of billions of dollars they are currently doing.

A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into some perspective in one of its releases.

A. A billion seconds ago it was 1989.
B. A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.
C. A billion hours ago our ancestors were living in the stone age.
D. A billion days ago no-one walked on the earth on two feet.
E. A billion Dollars ago was only 13 hours and 12 minutes, at the rate our government is spending it.
